The style is inspired by art genre, "superflat", which takashi murakami made famous by fusing traditional japanese art techniques with modern anime to produce subtle 3-dimensional characteristics within a 2-dimensional piece. the two mediums converge in this music video by utilizing cell shading on my 3D models in cinema4d.
